New Album finished!

Hi,

They say the first casualty of war is usually the plan. Well, it has taken much longer than planned to get this album finished but it is finally done! Not that I’ve been working 24/7 on it (far from it!) but, long story short, since we ran out of time in L.A. it was necessary to do some more recording in Denmark and the album kind of went off in a different direction. So I decided to follow it and I’m happy that I did. I think it’s a better album for it. But it was necessary to pull the two sides of the album together sonically in the end and that has taken some time also.

So, we now we have a September release scheduled and I’ll be on the road shortly after that with a cast of musicians. Not sure yet of all the specific territories but Benelux, Ireland, US and Canada are confirmed. Completing a new record is a satisfaction in itself but it really feels great now to have the tour to work towards and bring this music to as many people as I can. Tour dates and other news will be announced regularly from here on ;)

Peace and revolution,

Emmett

Note from Emmett

Hi,
First, a little update on progress with the new
album. Back from warm and sunny LA to cold and
rainy DK. While that's probably a good thing for
Emmett Tinley songs there's still nothing like a
strong coffee in the early morning sun! As
expected the 'acoustic' album has taken on a life
of its own and may go in any number of directions.
We are still on schedule for a September
release. So at this point I'd just like to say
thank you to those who have commented on the
rough demos and previews we have posted. It's
encouraging to know that there are people out
there waiting to hear some new music and I
greatly appreciate it. I'll post more updates as
things progress.

Thanks, Emmett.
